About the event
Considering that deep-sea mining is a current issue that requires more discussion to be comprehensively regulated, the UNESCO Chair for Ocean Sustainability and the Costa Brasilis Institute organized an Ocean Dialogue dedicated to deep-sea sustainability, titled “Exploring the Environmental, Economic, and Legal Aspects of Deep-Sea Mining,” in conjunction with the Assembly of the International Seabed Authority, on August 1st in Kingston, Jamaica.
